During the 3 years that the project lasts, a set of activities and tasks are expected to be performed in order to achieve diverse outputs, which would lead to the internationalization of the Tanzanian HEIs. TANZIE has 6 Work Packages (WP), that are the following:WP1 - Project ManagementThis WP serves as a basis for managing the project. It provides a definition of TANZIE’s organizational framework and establishes a clear set of guidelines for the management of the project objectives, ensuring they are completed on time, inside the budget and complying with the Erasmus+ requirements. Additionally, this WP includes the Project Management structure, the QA & Contingency Plan and a Mid-term progress report as key deliverables to support the effective project oversight and evaluation.WP2 - Launch & Study VisitThis WP aims to ensure the official launch of the project, and pretends to strengthen institutional capacity of the beneficiary institutions and improve knowledge exchange. These visits will provide firsthand insights into how EU partner institutions structure and manage their International Relations Offices (IROs). Finally, the drafting of an Updated Need Analysis (which is the main output of this WP), will identify the necessities and priorities of the Tanzanian HEIs in order to adapt the performance of the project to their specific needs.WP3 - INZ OfficesThis WP focuses on establishing or strengthening internationalization offices within TANZIE HEIs to enhance their capacity for planning, implementing, and evaluating internationalization efforts. Key activities include setting up or upgrading these offices with necessary IT equipment, developing marketing materials to promote Tanzanian universities internationally, and organizing an Internationalization Week to foster engagement, cultural exchange, and networking within the academic community. The main output is a report on the status of these offices.WP4 - Capacity Building for INZThis WP aims to enhance the human capacity required for effectively supporting internationalization of Tanzanian HEIs. This will be achieved through six tailored workshops, designed to meet the specific needs of partner institutions and targeted at top management staff and INZ officers. Hence, to ensure a structured approach and effective evaluation, a Training Plan and Training reports will be developed as key deliverables. Moreover, the training provided will be replicated to benefit a broader group of staff members.WP5 - INZ Strategic plansThis WP intends to develop or enhance these plans to ensure their alignment with the institution’s overall goals and mandate of TANZIE partners. It seeks to strengthen the institutional capacity of Tanzanian HEIs by enabling them to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate internationalization initiatives; to develop strategic actions, and to integrate good practices for internationalization. As a result, this WP produces 4 INZ Plans and a collection of good practices in internationalization to guide implementation and continuous improvement.WP6 - Dissemination & ExploitationFinally, this WP focuses on dissemination and exploitation, paving the way to the successful communication of project activities within Tanzania partners, and at a global level to promote the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Tanzania. So, the tasks included in this WP serve to set up the basic pillars for the communication efforts to be developed in the lifetime of the project. As a result, key outputs would be developed, namely the Communication & Dissemination Plan, the development of the TANZIE Website, and the creation of a Sustainability Plan to ensure the long-term impact and continuity of project outcomes.
