TANZIE aims to strengthen the internationalization efforts of selected Tanzania HEIs through institutional development to enhance the quality of teaching, research, and international collaboration. It specifically aims at:OBJECTIVE 1To enhance the institutional capacities of Tanzania HEIs to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate internationalization initiatives, including the development of internationalization strategies and offices. OBJECTIVE 2Fostering the development of intercultural competencies among faculty, staff, and students contributing to a globalized learning environment.This will be achieved through a series of well-designed and impactful actions that will contribute to: The development and creation of an International Office in each of the TANZIE HEIs, which will ensure that all the know-how and resources obtained during the project will be exploited in the future, so as to accomplish the internationalization of the HEIs.Improving the management knowledge and skills of the human resources through specific training, in order to keep their scientific information and skills updated to be internationally effective.
