About TANZIE

TANZIE directly tackles the needs for internationalization in Tanzania. It therefore contributes to sustainable job creation, increasing the country’s resilience to crisis and its openness to collaborate with other countries and regions while fostering a culture of international cooperation and growth.

The project aims at the implementation of international relations offices at selected partner universities at national level and the improvement of management knowledge and skills for international relations at institutional level.

The main expected outputs will be achieved through experience transfer, training for capacity building, and specific actions to address institutional sustainability. Publishable outputs and their subsequent dissemination will provide reference materials and extend the project reach.

The project activities and methodology are based on the real needs of the partner country institutions and have been formulated based on previous experiences of both EU and Tanzanian HEIs. The activities will be carried out in a logical order to obtain the expected specific objectives towards the internationalization of the HEIs.
